How you can help

Grateful for Julia's recovery I have set up an online fundraising campaign to support the

Waner Children's Vascular Anomaly Foundation - here's their mission statement.

Vascular birthmarks can be serious and life threatening conditions.

By making a donation to Dr. Waner's Foundation you are helping kids like Brandon and supporting research on vascular birthmarks!

Moreover, my employer - Google, will kindly match every dollar up to $6,000 of donations made in total per year from my campaign as a part of Google Gift Matching Program!

To make a donation, simply use the secure form below to purchase a ticket or go directly to the campaign's page at: juliahemangioma.eventbrite.com

You can also help by telling others about this site! Up to one in ten children are born with a vascular birthmark and yet, often parents are left on their own with researching about the condition of their child. Please use the following buttons to share this site with your friends:

  1. God bless you and your family. Our grandson has a similar problem. I'm so happy that everything is well with your daughter and praying it will be the same with our little grandson.

  2. Thank you so much for sharing this story. My 4 mo old granddaughter has a "strawberry" birth mark that has grown into what looks like Julia's hemangioma - same spot on back of neck. Our family dr says it will go away on it's own but it is blackening and getting bigger. It seems to cause her pain. I will now insist a second opinion.
    Thank you for sharing!
